my favorite argument from the communists is that when we finally have a classless and moneyless society, people would finally be able to do jobs they really want to do. it would increase life satisfaction.
ok, who's going to empty the crappy cesspools? who would change the diapers of the elderly? who would clean the toilets? who would be a livestock breeder? who would analyze the stool samples? who would study proctology? who would handle fecal microbiota transplants? who would take roadkills off the road? who would want to deal with dead bodies? who wants to clean up crime scenes? who wants to be a urologist? who wants to be a gynecologist? who wants to be a garbage man? who wants to be a pee collector?
these are not meaningless jobs whose purpose is nothing other than to generate business profit. doing these jobs really matters.
if people could do jobs they really wanted to do, no one would do important shitty jobs. i have never heard of anyone enjoying doing these jobs. no one does those jobs for any other reason than desperation to get money or to avoid being fired. therefore, money inevitably creates an incentive. money is a necessary blackmailer so that this society doesn't drown in piss, shit and corpses.
people who are like this are the adult equivalent of teenagers who don't want to clean their own room when mom tells them to. i don't understand how a person doesn't grow up to understand that no one asked if you want to do it or not, but you have to do it because you have to take care of yourself and your environment.
