my definition of lumpenproletariat
In Marxist theory, lumpenproletariat refers to the long-term unemployed and criminals who will never achieve class consciousness because they are not employed and do not understand the oppression of workers in practice because they have never worked. As a result, they participate in the bourgeois conspiracies at their own expense and the expense of all working-class people.
My own definition is simply every unemployed or working-class person who is not class conscious, not because they have structural problems (for example, they are highly motivated, but unable to continue their studies due to financial reasons, they have potential, but external factors prevent them from reaching their full potential), but because they deliberatively do not want to take responsibility for their own education. They are stupid, and they want to continue being stupid.
They are usually fucking racist, violent, family relationships are shit, have problematic substance use, and their developmental level of thinking is at the level of a teenager.
My thinking also includes the idea that the more people have certain privileges, such as high social mobility in a country and being white in said country, the more they are lumpenproletariat. Finnish lumpenproletariat is more lumpenproletariat than, say, American ones. The reason I define it this way is because in a country with high social mobility, people in their environment should already know better. The more education is available, the more it is reflected in culture, so they can't play dumb and claim they weren't required to know things, and the more people should know better and clearly deliberatively do not want to take responsibility for educating themselves. So stupidity is not structural, but voluntary.
For example, I've listened at the train station to alcoholics shouting about how Somalis and Ukrainians are taking away their welfare because they believe in the bullshit myth that they get more money than Finns. This is why you just don't trust to lumpenproletariat, they are dishonest and spread disinformation for their social approval from their loser peers which keep them in that position for rest of their lives because no proper person wants to be around intellectually dishonest liars. I remember a Russian-funded online magazine called Mitävittua-lehti / MV-lehti. Every fucking person who spread that Russian propaganda was a lumpenproletarian. It's ironic, the Finnish lumpenproletariat claims they are patriotic, and then spreads Russian propaganda.
Sorry, but if you have lived in a Finnish welfare state for decades, have a Finnish surname and look Finnish, meaning you do not experience any discrimination when looking for a job, and have lived in a country with free education, everything in your situation is your fault, not the immigrants'. Stop drinking beer and pick up a book and get a job, you fucking loser. You are in your situation because of hedonism, immigrants are in their situation because there is a war there. And no matter what you've experienced, they're not by any measure as serious as what immigrants have experienced. So do a favor and shut the fuck up.
Usually these fucking losers then say that Somalis and Ukrainians are not grateful. Grateful for what? What should they be grateful for? That there is a war in their country and the Finnish goverment is doing what they are supposed to do? You fucking degenerate alcoholics are ungrateful, by definition. Nothing in your life is sacred except alcohol. You complain about your shitty life every day, even though we all support you financially because you drink alcohol all day long. Somalis and Ukrainians deserve their money than you do, because they fled the war. You waste your money on alcohol. Shame on you.
And we don't need to talk about any alcoholics, but about everyone who belongs to the lumpenproletariat. Somalis and Ukrainians did not choose war, but the lumpenproletariat chose to be scum who take no responsibility for their own lives. They could have made different choices in their lives, war refugees could not.
If I refer to someone as white trash, they are white lumpenproletariat.
Lumpenproletariat are the reason why I oppose democracy and want to change it to epistocracy.
