usually when ethnonationalist christofascist have some kind of biblical dysphasia and they think that their worldview doesn't contradict the basic idea of christianity, then they appeal to the story of the tower of babel in this contradiction. Their argument is that God looks favorably on ethnonationalism, because if God mixed people into different nations by giving them different languages, then isn't ethnonationalism holy and divine?

Ok, please read Galatians 3:28 from your Bible:

"There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

You don't understand the whole point of the gospel and the story of the birth of Christianity itself. The point of the gospel was that once upon a time when the Romans took over Jerusalem and the Greek diaspora remained there, these Greeks wanted to become part of the Jewish society and culture. So they wanted to convert to Judaism, but the Jews of that time said that there was no point in that, because the Greeks could not convert to the Jewish ethnic religion.

They were right in themselves. If you are, for example, Finnish, there is no point in converting to Shinto, the ethnic religion of the Japanese, because you are not Japanese and there is no point in belonging to that religion. That whole religion revolves completely around Japaneseness. In the same way, it makes no sense that Greeks would convert to the ethnic religion of the Jews, it revolves around Jewishness, not Greekness, and never will. But the whole story of the birth of Christianity is precisely that the Jews who followed Jesus did not want to see Judaism as an ethnic religion intended for native Jews, but as a universal religion that anyone can join, regardless of ethnicity.

Christofascist ethnonationalists don't realize that if they really wanted to be Christian, ethnofascist, and at the same time consistent, they would have to drop their own Christian faith. Christianity is not an ethnic religion, but a universal one, and as such it does not serve your nationalistic interests. The fact that you are Christians in the first place is entirely due to the opposition to the Jews, who were people just like you. Besides, according to church canons, New Testament verses always override Old Testament verses. So the Tower of Babel can be debunked simply because its implications contradict the commands of the book of Galatians.
