the finnish protestants who always call the orthodox church as a "ryssänkirkko" and hope that we all just die, are just illiterate satanists who hate their god

whenever i hear that some finnish lutheran say that finnish orthodox church is “ryssänkirkko” (it means “church of russians” but ryssä is a slur for russians), i always think that yeah, the fact that finnish ministry of education wants to destroy religious studies (uskonnonopetus) and replace it with some vague “worldview studies” (yhteinen katsomusaine) is the last nail in the coffin that ensures that finnish people will always and forever be the most religious-illiterate nation that i've ever known.

so, finnish people are so religion-illiterate that they barely don’t even know their own religion which is lutherianism and therefore they barely know any church history. you can always tell from even the slightly older finnish people that even if they know their basics of their christian denomination, they still cannot question their own religion’s paradigms that are easily debunked.

okay, so are you slow or how on earth the word “orthodoxy” doesn’t ring any bells? usually, when people teach what orthodoxy means, they teach etymology at the same time. ortho- means right or proper and -doxy mean teaching or knowledge. it’s greek word, right? what else was written in greek? new testament. what faith modern day greeks confess? orthodoxy. where the oldest painted icons that depicts our lord jesus christ are located? in the monastery of saint catherine of alexandria in mount sinai, which is the greek orthodox monastery.

so are you dumb or don’t you get it that our “ryssänkirkko” isn’t even originally russian but greek and secondly, this is the same church that was founded during the first pentecost in new testament? should the greek influence ring any bells? this is the same church that your god founded and you reject it by calling it ryssänkirkko that should be destroyed. you are alienated of your god by belonging to church that isn’t even founded by jesus and therefore you’re alienated of new testament era original christian culture that your lord jesus christ practiced.

if we are ryssänkirkko then you’re the offspring of ryssänkirkko. you are like a son who hits their own mother. you hate the mother who birthed you.

i don't care what denomination someone belongs to. orthodoxy, catholicism, protestantism, heretical sects like jehovah's witnesses or mormons, i don’t care. but i know that if any heterodox christian ever hates orthodox christians, person is helplessly stupid and uneducated in theological matters.

everyone who is educated in theology, even catholics, understands that orthodoxy is an obvious historical continuation of the christianity practiced in the time of jesus, and that is why christians have stopped debating christian theology among themselves and focused on ecumenism because the answer is clear. and we also do not want to convert you to orthodoxy because we have cultural literacy.

cherry on the top is the fact that these motherfuckers think that we are bitches of kremlin when our church has been these last over hundred years been under patriarch of constantinopole. claiming that we have something do with kremlin is the same kind of statement as saying that romanovs are alive and still holding office in russia. like, are you dumb? and also, why on earth the finnish orthodox church that has always been the church of karelian diaspora who fled as evacuees from karelia to finland because of russian aggression, would ever be loyal to kremlin? even if we would be russian karelians, point still stays same, not even karelians of republic of karelia don’t like russia and wants to be part of finland because they know that the reason why republic of karelia is shithole in the first place is because of russian occupation.

so not only that these motherfuckers don’t know anything about theology, church history and can’t connect the dots, they apparently don’t know anything about history of winter war, karelia, finnish white movement, mannerheim and his relations to finnish orthodox church and so on.
